The tree's features:

Originally from England, introduced to us in 1900, considered as the basic variety and quality standard for fruit quality.

The tree has medium force, blooms semi-late or late, is very early and productive, has no affinity with the quince and must be grafted on franc or with intermediate.


The fruit's features:

The fruit is medium to large, piriform, straw-yellow color.

The pulp is white, sweet, juicy, delicate and very good.

Harvest season: begins at the end of August, extending until September.

Planting season: February - April and October - December.


Rootstock: Wild Pear

Pollinators: Clapp's Favorite, Bosc Kobak, Conference, Packham's Triumph.

Pear WILLIAMS ROSU
The tree's features:

Variety selected in U.S. as Williams mugural mutation, introduced after 1945.

The tree has medium force, is very productive and has no affinity with quince A.


The fruit's features:

The fruit is large, medium weight 150-250 grams, piriform, deep red colored over the entire surface of the skin. Sometimes the phenomenon of color reversibility also occurs, ie green-yellow or striped fruits, similar to the origin variety.

The other features are similar to the Williams variety. It is recommended primarily for fresh consumption.

Harvest season: the first decade of September, and storage in cold stores extended for 1-2 months.

Planting season: February - April and October - December.

Pollinators: Clapp's Favorite, Bosc Kobak.


Pear CLAPP ROSU
The tree's features:

The tree is vigorous, early.


The fruit's features:

The fruits are medium or large, 180-220g. The regular pear form.

The pulp is yellow, dense, very aromatic.

Harvesting season: middle of August.

Planting season: February - April and October - December.


Rootstock: Wild Pear

Pollinators: Williams, Bosc Kobak, Hardenpont.


Pear ARABITCA
The tree's features:

It is the first of the summer varieties, which is already ripe at the end of June.


The fruit's features:

The fruits are small, pear-shaped, light yellow in color.

It is very juicy and aromatic. Recommended for fresh consumption.

Harvesting season: end of June.

Planting season: February - April and October - November.

Pear PACHAM S TRIUMPH
The tree's characteristics:

It is a winter tree, vigorous, is not pretentious, produces much and systematically.


The fruit's features:

The fruits are large (200-270 gr.), Tronconic, greenish-yellow wiyh red-hot on most surfaces.

The pulp is white, toasted, with a pleasant taste, but collapses when overripe.

Harvesting season: the third decade of September.

Planting season: February - April and October - November.

The tree's features:

Autumn variety.

The tree is of medium strength and mainly produces short branches.


The fruit's features:

The fruits are medium and large, elongated, asymmetrical, with a thin and curved neck.

The skin is yellow-green, being covered on almost the whole surface with rust stains of different sizes.

The pulp is white, smooth, fondant, succulent, sweet, flavored, being very good for consumption.

Harvesting season: September, can be stored for up to 6 months in arranged places.

Planting season: February - April and October - December.

Pear NAPOCA
The tree's features:

The tree is vigorous, with wide, conical, rare crowns, harnessing tepidas and juveniles.

The jars are brown-yellow with rare, round, elliptical, grayish lenticles.

The leaves are greenish-yellow, small or medium, accuminate and involute.


The fruit's features:

The fruit is pear-shaped, of medium size (130-140 g), very showy.

The skin is thin, yellow, covered on the sunny side with a reddish or reddish striations.

The pulp is white-yellow, fondant, succulent, sweet, pleasantly acidified, finely flavored.

Harvesting season: in the second half of August, can be kept until September 15-20. The variety is suitable for superintensive plantations.

Planting season: February - April and October - December.

Pear MONIKA
The tree's features:

Variety obtained at Pitesti-Maracineni, from the crossing of the varieties Santa Maria and Principe di Gonzaga, approved in 1994.

The tree has medium strength, it grows on branches and burses and fruity since the fourth year after planting.

It has good affinity with the quince.

It simultaneously blooms with the Williams, Napoca and Argessis varieties.

The variety is autosterile and requires Pollinators.


The fruit's features:

The fruit is elongated, with fruits of 160-180g on average, but also reaches over 200-250g, greenish-yellow, covered with baking red on 10-30% of the surface of the fruit.

The pulp is white, crispy, and when ripe becomes fondant.

The sugar content reaches 4-5 mg% and is recommended both for fresh consumption and for processing as juice or nectar with approx. 67% yield.

Diseases and pests: It shows good resistance to scab and tolerance to bacterial burns.

Harvesting season: la end of September and early October.

Planting season: February - April and October - November.

Pear CURE
The tree's features:

The tree has great force, produces a lot but alternating.


The fruit's features:

The fruit is medium or large sized, pyriform, sometimes elongated, has greenish-yellow ripe bark, with a characteristic longitudinal rust strip.

The pulp is white-yellow, dense, lightly fragrant, of medium quality.

Harvesting season: in the third decade of September and the first decade of October. It is kept until January-February.
