Cherry GERMERSDORF 3
Tree characteristics:

Old variety of German origin widespread in all fruit trees' areas.

The very vigorous tree, has a broad conical crown. It blooms late and is quite resistant to frost and drought. It is rustic and very productive.

It is a German kind of cherry tree, widespread in our country.


Fruit characteristics:

The fruit is large or very large, over 8g, cordiform obtuse, with bulging dorsal area.

The skin is bloody red, the pulp is stony, juicy, sweet and inadherent to the kernel.

Pollinators: Van, Stella, Giant of Hedelfingen.

Harvesting: at the end of June and early July.

Planting season: February - April and October - December.

Rootstock: MAHALEB


Cherry KATALIN
Tree characteristics:

The tree is of great force, the crown is slightly flattened, dense.

Early and large production.


Fruit characteristics:

The fruits are very large: 8-10g, elongated, spherical shape.

Dark red-bordeaux matu, thick shell.

Dark red, crispy pulp, sweet taste - acidified and harmonious.

Pollinators: Linda, Giant of Germersdorf, Van, Stella.

Harvesting: at the end of June.

Planting season: February - April and October - December.

Cherry VAN
Tree characteristics:

Variety obtained at Columbia Research Resort in Summerland, Canada in 1936 from the free pollination of the Empress Eugenia variety and authorized in 1981 in Romania.

The tree is of medium to large force, with wide pyramid crown and plumage on May bouquets and medium branches.

It is very productive and it has good resistance to frost.

Van variety is one of the best polinars for other Cherries.


Fruit characteristics:

The fruit is 6.5-7g, globular, slightly flattened, shiny red, the stony pulp has a sweet acidified taste.

The peduncle is short and thick, characteristic, and the kernel is non-adherent, accounting for about 3% of the fruit weight.

Harvesting: average in the last part of June.

Planting season: February - April and October - December.

Rootstock: MAHALEB


Cherry KATALIN

It is a variety of excellent table fruit, resistant to pests and diseases. The tree is fructifying early. At maturity it reaches 4.5 - 5 meters height. Take care of the birds, because they prefer this Cherry variety.

Tree characteristics:

Variety obtained at Summerland Resort, Canada in 1956 by hybridization of the Lambert x John Innes Seedling 2420 varieties and authorized in our country in 1979.

It is the first self-fertile Cherry variety and is widespread in all cultivating countries.

The tree is vigorous and forms a wide crown, branched, well garnished with fruity branches.

It is very productive with high quality fruits, and is resistant to frost.

It does not require cross-pollination, being a good pollinator for all other Cherry varieties.


Fruit characteristics:

The fruit is 8-9g large, of a heart shape, glowing red color, with medium firmness, with sweet acidified taste.

The peduncle is medium and the kernel is approx. 5% weight of the fruit.

It is sensitive to the cracking of the fruits.

Harvesting: in the second decade of June.

Planting season: February - April and October - December.

Cherry BIGARREAU BURLAT
Tree characteristics:

French variety of unknown genetic origin, but presumably selected in Morocco in 1935 as a clone of the Bigarreau Moreau variety.

Medium force tree with broad globular crown.

It starts fructifyng in the 5th year since planting and produces abundantly, mostly on may bouquets.

Early blooming.


Fruit characteristics:

The fruit is large, 6-7 g, dark red, spherical, with fleshy pulp and sweet acidified taste.

The peduncle is medium, and the kernel is nonadherent, medium sized, approx. 5% the weight of the fruit.

Pollinators: Black Szomolya, Van, Giant of Germersdorf.

Harvesting: the last decade of May and the first decade of June.

Planting season: februarie - aprilie si octombrie - decembrie.

Rootstock: MAHALEB


Cherry RUBIN
Tree characteristics:

It is a relatively recently introduced variety.

Middle-minded, produces constantly and abundantly.

Highly resilient to weather stress factors.


Fruit characteristics:

The fruits are large and very large, ruby red, glossy color.

The pulp is stony, ruby red, non-adherent to the kernel.

Harvesting: towards the end of June.

Planting season: February - April and October - December.
